Will this version (Galaxy s6 Edge Plus) work for bands on T-Mobile ...

According to the specs, LTE shouldn't be a problem, but 3G might be, since the phone supports Band 2 but not Band 4 for 3G. Band 4 is T-Mobile's workhorse, so you'd want to see what Band 2's coverage in your area is like. The upshot is that you'd have normal voice signal and LTE, but in areas with poor LTE signal, you might get dropped down to EDGE (2G), without getting 3G (HSPA+) in between.

Not sure about wi-fi calling. Usually, it has to be a T-Mobile branded phone in order to use wi-fi calling (unless it's a more recent Nexus phone).
