Samsung searching for players when trying to watch videos, how can I stop this?

Samsung searchign for players when trying to watch videos

I accidentally clicked 'always' on the players viewing option on my Samsung and now every time I try and watch a video, my phone searches for a play (like chromecast) then takes me back in still video if non are available.
I've tried settings > app manager > set as default with no luck.

Samsung S6 edge running on latest update.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to the App Manager, tap More, then Reset All App Preferences. Does that help?
