Phone won't turn on?

My phone is completely dead all of a sudden. It's not even 2 years old, it was just charging next to me, I used it maybe 1 hour ago. Any idea why? I did finally update those 16 apps that had been bugging me for ages. No customer rom. Could there possibly be a solution? :'(

Welcome back! First, in case it's somehow frozen on a black screen, try forcing a shutdown by pressing and holding Power and Vol Down for 10-15 seconds. Then try powering on again.

If that doesn't help, then leave it plugged into a wall outlet overnight, and then press and hold Power for at least 15-20 seconds to see if it powers on. If nothing happens, then it could be the battery, the Power button, or the motherboard. Either way, you'll have to bring it to a repair shop, or contact Samsung for warranty repair (if it's still covered).
