Wireless charger not working with phone case?

I have a G26 Edge with a wireless Verizon charger I use to charge it. I have recently put a new case on my phone and now the charger is just blinking red and won't charge at all. It's a very slim case and I was amazed when I saw it wouldn't work with my charger. Is the material of a case going to effect the charge capabilites?

Some cases just aren't compatible with wireless charging. It's always best to check in the specifications if the case is compatible.
You could always try to replace the case or ask a refund depending on where you got it from
