Why does it show downloading apps and nothing - looks like it's download but not?

just Galaxy S6 - now trying to download apps and nothing - looks like it's download but not

They started transfer from my old phone and all looked well. but now hours later nothing download. Cancelled a couple of the transfer - went into Play Store and tried downloading the app from there and still the same thing. Looks like it download but nothing happens - any help

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean transferring an app from your old phone? Is that different from going to Play Store and trying to install from there?

Try going to the App Manager, select Google Play Store, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager. Now try again.
