Adjustments, tips and tricks to maximize Battery Life on Samsung Galaxy S6/edge

Here's mine for the day, so far.
I have an unlocked, non-carrier branded, international using it on AT&T (no AT&T mod'd firmware and/or bloatware).
It's running 5.1.1
I'm going to easily get 5 hours of SoT and around 23 hours of battery by the time I'm finished in a while and charge it.

:)

This is definitely my best standby time. Surprisingly it was also off wifi

With the info provided it doesn't look too bad, I mean, according to the first screenshot, it wasn't full charged, it seems to have charged to around 90% or a little more, then you have ScreenOnTime of 3 hours 10 mins that will give you an average of a little more than 4 hours of SoT and like I said above it wasn't charged to 100% or at least is not counting from Full.

With the above and what it seems you were using most of the time, Instagram and Facebook and Messenger which are known battery drainers, doesn't seem so bad.

I couldn't even imagine having my phone at 40% brightness. I always have mine at zero percent unless I have to go out

I can't even understand how this is physically possible or comfortable for you to read, unless your ambient environment is always quite dark. Even under normal office lighting, I can barely make out cnn.com at 0%. How could you realistically enjoy any kind of website or media like this.

If you try if for a couple of days you'll actually get used to it! Although I don't really like messing with my brightness to much so I just leave mine on auto

Location History turned off. No other measures taken. Screen brightness stays on auto. Location stays on. WiFi for over half the day.

I get horrible service at my house and my cell standby is super high on the weekend when I'm there all day. I'm usually around the 115-120 range. It's horrible out there.

Get GSAM from the app store and you'll know for sure if it's cell radio or WiFi eating your battery.

I have never had a single issue reading a single website or app. Ever

I tried 0% brightness after reading your post. I couldn't leave it that way long at all. Just Way to dark to be enjoyable for me to use. Even 40 or 50% is a bit dim. I usually run around 75% brightness. Always have. Glad my phone/battery isn't messed up and seems to go a full day no matter what.

Here are my results. I am by no means a heavy user, but I definitely am not a light user. My battery probably did drain a little faster around 10:30 - present due to updates and heavy usage at that time.

I'm the exact opposite. I couldn't have my phone any brighter unless I was out of the house and in the sun. Brighter gives me a headache

Here is to Usage. It's odd, I used power save yesterday, not today, and my phone lasted. A bit. Longer

Left home this morning with a full battery and returned 10 hours later with 85 percent battery left. Granted it was a light day of usage at work but nonetheless I was pretty stoked that I could this kind of battery life from the GS6.

This was my battery life yesterday. The only thing I have done differently is I've allowed my phone to run down its battery until it switches off. It seems to have improved the battery life
