Ok so this is odd but I am not sure what to do.

My sounds keep defaulting back to the default sound for Texts and I am not able to get Twitter to change to a different sound for alerts at all. Anyone else seeing this? Any thoughts?

Twitter settings suck. I ended up just turning notifications off, as I wasn't able to adjust them to what I wanted.

I had something similar happening for SMS notifications.

My phone kept defaulting back to the SILENT notification sound.

I thought it was Tasker not properly firing the task. It turned out "importing" my notification from my previous phone didn't allow it to be recognized by the phone (I used ES File Explorer to select the file to use as the notification sound). After I downloaded the file directly from Zedge I had no more problems.

If you transferred the notification sound from your previous phone try downloading from a website again.

I am still unable to set a setting for Twitter no matter what I do :-(

Old thread resurrected,
noticed my calendar alarm alert defaults back to one called "on time". Even tho I have a custom tone set. Works for a few times then back to "on time". Weird behavior. The rest of my alerts are fine and stay put as set. Anyone else having alert tone issues lately?
