how do you dry out a Samsung s6 which has got wet

how does one dry out the Samsung s6 which got dropped in water, since you can't open the case or remove the battery. I blew hot air into the charger port and tried to charge it, but there isn't much going on. any thoughts other than making an insurance claim and getting another one?

Slowly. Turn it off immediately so it does not short out and let it dry out over several days. They sell bags to place it in to absorb moisture many will say rice but the bags are better.

I would make sure it is completely dried out before trying to turn it back on. And by trying to charge it you may have fried it.
