So confused

I am so confused as to why I am having such poor battery life. I even uninstalled Facebook and Facebook messenger today. This is really confusing me. I have smart switch turned off, all location settings switched off, Nova launcher with a black theme and wallpaper to try to conserve battery power. Autobrightness off and the phone at the lowest possible brightness. I don't know what else to try anymore

Try downloading Gsam in the play store. It will tell you what app might be causing your phone to stay awake causing your battery drain.

It might be the weather channel app you have there constantly running in the background. It also could be that your signal isn't all that great. Noticed you have 6% cell standby.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm literally losing a percentage point every few minutes. Sometimes every few minutes. It's getting to a point now where I am willing to try anything. I just uninstalled the weather app

This was a battery killer for me. It has to do with the weather constantly trying to update.

Then nothing gets synced in real time. But I guess it would work if your not using your phone for periods of time.

There were already a lotta posts on this rght? You should switch off ur wifi calling,VoLTE, search for wifi always on should b turnd off in the wifi setting! Try this nd lemme know!

I don't have the option of volte nor of wifi calling. I are also have the WiFi settings switched off too. Like I said. I have literally tried everything I have come across

I just got off the phone with Samsung customer care. I told them about everything that I'm doing and that I am still losing 20% battery life per hour. They told me it sounded like I had a faulty operating system and I should go into telstra tomorrow to get my phone replaced

Can't be worse than five hours per charge lol. I'm currently losing 17% battery every hour

I've been talking to samsung on twitter. They got me to put my device in safe mode. The battery difference was like between night and day. I've now taken it out of safe mode and am awaiting further instruction from samsung
