S6 Google Now Not Allowing to Access Applications Past Lock Screen

I have trusted voice enabled so saying "OK google" should unlock my screen but it doesn't. This is a pain when I am trying to set an alarm. I don't feel like picking my phone up and having to use my fingerprint to unlock the screen and accept the alarm.

Can anybody else try to confirm that it doesn't or does unlock their lock screen on the s6? I am on the latest software. Thanks.

I have the same problem, have been on lots of forums trying to solve this , but to no avail.i also had to set language to US English to activate trusted voice but live in the UK , it kind of defeats the object of having OK Google if you have to wake the phone before using. If works on the lock screen but only after I wake the phone up , I think this is a quite common problem looking at different forums , but for some people it it does work .Not sure if it mainly an S6 problem though .
