The popup window is from goodprotectos.com. is this a virus

You shouldn't be getting any popups to be honest. Unless you are in an app that has ads. If you receive pop ups while not in an app then yes it doesn't look good. You should consider having a look at apps you recently installed, try removing some and see if the issue resolves it'self. If not then you could always perform a factory reset found in your settings. This will bring the phone back to new condition (just remember to back up your data as it'll be lost)

I was having pop ups upon unlocking my phone as well as that weird fake Facebook sweepstakes thing. I ended up deleting a rogue app that I believed was causing all of this mess and now no more pop ups and no more sweepstake thing. Crossing my fingers but I believe it's fixed.
