Hello, this keeps popping up on my phone:
Google Play symbol
Your Andriod is in grave danger!
Google has found a serious virus on your Android system! (notice how they spelled Android correctly this time). If you do not upgrade to the latest applications, personal photos, passwords and credit card information is at risk, and can cause the system to crash.
Model: Generic Android 2.0
Risk LEvel: 5 stars
How to upgrade?
Step 1: click the button to download the application.
Step 2: Open the application to start the update
Update Now in green box
I know it is not real, and have not clicked on the button. How can I get it from not popping up? Thank you for your help.

Welcome to the forums. Pop up ads like this might be avoided by an add on in other browsers, i.e. FireFox. Otherwise, you would have to look at rooting your device.

It's an app, most of the times but not limited to free video or music apps, if you have installed one recently or before this began to occur, just uninstall it.

Try going to System-Applications Manager when you have the pop up and look in Running Apps you will see in that list the one you may suspect it is.
