why is my s6 touch pad not working and how to fix fones brand new an about a week old help

no drops or anythiny
just stop working every thing is working on button volume button ect

Welcome to Android Central! What happens if you reboot the phone? Force a power off by pressing and holding Power for 10-15 seconds. Then wait about 10 seconds, and power back on again. If the touchscreen still doesn't register anything, then bring it back to the store for a replacement. If they can't help, then contact Samsung for warranty repair.
