Can't get Microsoft Apps to open on S6? Keep crashing?

Ive just got a S6 and it has Microsoft apps installed, i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc. Every time i try and open these they don't open, a screen seems to flash then im taken back to the homescreen. It's just with these microsoft pre-installed apps?

Just wondered has anyone else experience this?

Are they Android apps? If so, and it's a new phone, bring it back.
