Galaxy s6 front camera lag

Recently got galaxy s6. Amazing phone
But Iam facing one issue, my front camera lags in no effect mode especially in low light. As soon as i click wkde mode lag goes away. With 3rd party app front camera is not lagging.

Guys am worried please is there any fix?

No it doesn't lag in good lightning. Only in low light it starts to lag on stock camera app.
But pic is brighter than any smartphone i have in low light.

It's just the way it's processing the image in low light to give you the best picture available.

Are you sure? Coz am confused because this is my first Android phone. In iPhone it doesn't lag but ya image quality is very dark in low light and in s6 in low light also image somehow comes very good and bright.

S6 owners does your camera lags while moving in low light?

Not sure how much it "lags" buy the quality is sub par, by so is my wife's 6S...I find front facing cameras only really work is very well lighted areas.

By lag i mean, when you move your front camera specially in low light, it feels laggy. Imo quality is not that bad, but not special by any means in low light.

Ah OK so its the delayed motion, I think as dump stated earlier its the device processing the image.

Guys laggy camera is frustrating me. Do you think installing stock firmware via smart switch will help ?

Highly doubt it. If you want those great low light front facing pics, I recommend you adjust to it or find better lighting...

You make it seem like you live in a cave or similar.

I think its the way camera is created to take selfie in low light. Because as soon as I record videos it becomes super smooth and read many people posted the same thing .

Btw you also having lag in low light while moving front cam? And is it happening to you recently or from day1?

I tested mine last night, it is the same as you describe. It's noting wrong with your phone. Just the way it's processing the imagine in low light conditions for best possible picture as described earlier in this thread.

Yup i think the same now . I tested few s6 live demo in stores they were the same maybe a lil less laggy but ya i think its normal.

I've just got my new (Self Unboxing ) and first i used the front camera in daylight , it was absolutely amazing , once I came at night ( low light condition ) i found the Laggy **** on my face I used the video recording ( smooth .. any effect is perfect except the no effect type )

So , yea i think it's inside the mobile it self ... not a software or hardware problem
