I have an app that I don't want to be auto updated, but I want the others to keep being auto updated. In the meanwhile, I turned off auto update entirely but it's a huge inconvenience having to update all the apps manually. Is there a way to keep a specific app from getting auto updated and still keep the auto update on?

First, turn on Auto Update in the main Google Play Store settings. Then go the Play Store page for the app in question, tap the menu button at the upper right, and uncheck Auto Update--that should stop automatic updates for that app alone.

Go to the play store. Click on my apps and choose the app you don't want to auto update. Once inside that app selection look into the upper right corner for the three elongated dots. You will see a check box for auto update.
