Why haven't I gotten the 5.1 lollipop update yet on my AT&T Galaxy s6?

I have checked for updates using the phone and it always says I don't have any. I have plenty of free space on my phone so that isn't it either. Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be clear--you're using this AT&T S6 on an AT&T network, correct?

You can try to use Smart Switch to update your device.

Is your phone rooted? If so, then you won't get over the air updates from AT&T.

If you live by a Best Buy they can update it at the store

Someone said that AT&T withdrew the new 5.1.1 update for the S6 Active. If that's true, it might also apply to the regular S6.
