Why can't I acess my voicemail on my unlocked Galaxy S6?

I recently took my sim card and put it into an unlocked Samsung galaxy s6. Everything on the phone works except I can't access my voicemail, when calling my own number I receive an error message. This is a Verizon phone, and I'm on the T-Mobile network.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Bring the phone into TMobile and ask them to set it up for you. There are a few changes that have to be made (like the APN and your voicemail number - which is an extension on their VM server, it's not your phone number).
