Why does my Samsung S6 lose data signal on wake up?

Samsung s6 looses data signal on wake up

When my S-6 wakes up, the signal shows 4-5 bars, however, the 4G indicator is Gray, my weather bug widget goes blank, and my internet apps say "unable to load page".
To solve, I must either reboot the phone, or Toggle Airplane mode on-off.
This happens 4-5 times per day.
Is there an fix for this ?

If you don't have some special kind of power saving settings, it could be a problem with the hardware. How long has this been happening/did you try to factory reset (not necessarily suggesting it, just curious)?

I did a factory reset for a different problem about a month ago.
This appears to be a common issue based on forum chat but I cannot find anyone who fixed it.

I also removed the Power Savings app, because that was killing my alarm clock. Does not seem to have solved the signal issue.
