Why aren't I able to add my photo to text messages?

add my photo to text messages

I have the Galaxy S6 Active (AT&T) and would like to add my photo icon to text messages sent. How can I do that? Same question for emails sent. I'm using the default text message app and the POP3 email app (not GMail.)

If you go to your Contacts app there should be a MY PROFILE with your information. That's where you want to put your picture. Not sure if it'll work for e-mail but it should for Messaging (unless AT&T messed with the app).
