Problem deleting theme from galaxy s6

[AC Question]

I downloaded a theme from the theme store on galaxy s6 as I have done before. But when I deleted it and restarted my phone it had only partly deleted so all my menus are still using the theme. Now my fingerprint scanner isn't working I also can't read txt messages as they come through blank. Some of my apps have been deleted from my home screen as well. I don't know how to get rid of it. Please help.

apply the default theme and restart the phone. if not try clearing cache

I tried both of your suggestions and there are still remnants of the theme on my lock screen and home screen as well as my text, phone, and contact apps. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
