WiFi Issue

Wife and I have Galaxy S6s on Sprint. Mine works great on all WiFi but hers only works correctly on 5GHz WiFi (connects to 2.4GHz WiFi, but can't do anything online). This is a problem because I don't currently have 5GHz WiFi running at home, don't have room for the router running DD-WRT. Does anyone have a clue why her phone won't work correctly on 2.4GHz WiFi?

Something is set up wrong in the router. Read Troubleshooting Wi-Fi Connection Problems and see if any of it helps.

I don't think its the router (well technically AP since I have an enterprise grade router & AP). My S6, our LG G Pad f7.0 tablets, laptops, my mom's HTC M9, iPad Mini & her laptop all work fine. It is just my wife's phone that has the issue.
