Connects to Windows 10 but shows no files

[AC Question]

I just got a new laptop running Windows 10 Home 64. I tried connecting my S6 for the first time; it connects, but no files are showing up. Just empty folders.

I downloaded the latest driver and ran the install. Still nothing.

(I know to swipe down on the screen and choose File Transfer. It's not that.)

Try F5 to refresh your screen. Sometimes Win10 doesn't update the desktop or folders automagically but if you try and delete something twice you get an error message or try and copy something twice it will tell you that it is already there but until you F5 it doesn't show.
