Galaxy S6 Storage problem

I was backing up some photos from my phone yesterday when I noticed that there is suspiciously little storage available:

So, I highlighted every folder there to look at the properties to see just how much space was being used, since I know I don't have nearly 20 GB worth of apps, photos, or music on my phone:

And there we go. That's a problem. I used ES File Explorer's "analyze" feature to see just what was eating up all that storage:

And there seems to be the problem. What is this 16.83 GB of "others"? Why can't I see any of it through ES File Explorer or through my PC? How did all of this bloat get there in the first place? Surely the unremovable Samsung and Verizon apps wouldn't take up 16.83 GB? What can I do about this?

Others it is most likely app data. It doesn't say what app use it. If you guess the app, you can clean app cache and data from the Settings => Apps
