Morning all,
On my S7 active, which has been working great since I got it in August, 2016, has developed an annoying bug with the alarm icon at the top of the home screen. Sometimes it pops up intermittengly during the day, and at times like right now, it is on constantly. Problem is that I don't have any alarms set. I have checked the clock app, gone to Clock settings and cleared the cache and data, and I don't have any other clock applications running. This is the default Samsung clock app.
I did the most recent update with the Jan security patch, but this was happening before that came down. When it is intermittent, I do notice it pops up when I use the Samsung dialer app. Pops up when I make/receive a call, then disappears a while after I end the call.
Does anyone have any ideas that I could try, short of a hard reset? It has only happened since the beginning of 2017.
Thanks for any help.
Rich
