Hello. New to the forum and not very tech savvy when it comes to phones/accessories so I just wanted some opinions. I pick up my S7 Edge later today and want an SD card. I've read the forums and then went to Amazon to look for cards and was surprised to see some going for $200+. The first one I saw was SanDisk Ultra 200GB Micro SD (SDSDQUAN-200G-G4A) for $79. I understand most of the time you get what you pay for, but I'm hoping this isn't the case with SD cards since $200 is steep. Anyway, I'm hoping some of you more knowledgeable people in here will chime in and give your thoughts on this card or reasonably priced others for me to purchase. Thanks in advance for your help.

the sandisk 200gb is fine for basic uses. if you have circumstances where you need a fast card, then the more expensive one could be worth it.

I'd go w Samsung Evo + on sale at Best Buy. I've read Sandisk cards don't play well w Samsung devices..on purpose? Possibly. I read the 128gb Evo + is selling for 49.99 (a steal)

I also use the 200GB microSD card from Amazon. For $79.99, you can't beat that price. I don't have a 4K tv so I'm not too worried about recording 4K video with it. I have a 64GB microSD (U-3) card that can record 4K video if I ever need to do that.

Thanks for that info Retinella. The 4K was part of what I was not understanding the terminology of. Also when they say the write speed. I pretty much just want to store video/photos on the card and that's it. Nothing fancy, no other uses but to store items on.
