Fingerprint security timeout issue. Am in the only one on GS7 Edge?

I am using a fingerprint to unlock my phone. I want to set it so that I dont have to use it every time and there is a setting for that. Under lock screen and security>secure lock settings>Secured Lock Time. I change that setting to 5 minutes, and after 20 or 30 minutes, it defaults back to the "Instant with power key or screen timeout" setting. Does this happen to anyone else? I want my screen to stay unlocked for 5 minutes after I unlock it, but my S7 Edge is not keeping that setting. Is my phone the issue or is the S/W?

I am not using any third party security. So frustrating!

I was having Fingerprint unlock issues. In my case the phone said it had restarted even though it didn't.

I ended up tracing it back to an app called EasyHome which had administrative controls and uses the home/finger print button. Just a shot.
