So I just jumped ship from nearly a decade of iPhones, pretty happy with my device so far. We live in a spacious 2 story house, our main router is located in the upstairs living room and our wifi extender is in the downstairs living room, so far with my both my iphone and ipad whether I go downstairs or back upstairs my wifi would connect to the nearest router, so it I always get a max wifi signal. Somehow with my new s7 edge it wouldnt do the same, if I go upstairs my wifi would drop getting just one bar, what I usually do is just disconnect than reconnect back again immediately it would connect to the upstairs router resulting full bars of wifi.
Is there any wifi settings or something that I should change? So my s7edge could behave the same as my previous iPhones.
Do I really have to disconnect/reconnect everytime I go upstairs/downstairs?
Btw both router and extender have same the ssid and the same brand tp-link.
