Last week I began to notice random images showing up the the Messages app, during active SMS threads. Some of the photos I recognize (not necessarily as mine, mind you) but others are completely unknown/random. I have no idea where they are coming from. They do not show up on my contact's device, only mine, and are not present in the Verizon Messages+ app for those same threads.
Obviously the answer is to use Messages+, but I don't like it, and some other (driving) apps rely on the native app notifications to announce texts, etc.
Does anyone have any idea what could be the reason for this odd behavior?
