LTE bands discrepancy between Samsung site and T-Mobile site

Hi all,

I'm thinking about getting a S7 Edge through T-Mobile but I see a discrepancy between the LTE bands listed on the official Samsung site and the T-Mobile site:

Samsung: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 18, 19, 20, 38, 39, 40, 41

T-Mobile: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 20

I'd like to use this phone for travel to Taiwan and band 8 is essential for LTE reception.

For both of you who own the T-Mobile version of the Edge, do you have the bands that Samsung lists or the ones that T-Mobile lists?

It does have band 8.

Is yours a T-Mobile one? The icons at the top (wifi and such) don't match the T-Mobile version.

So which site has the right information? T-Mobile says their info is correct and Samsung said their info is also correct.

Both do. The Samsung site has the correct information for the Samsung phones, the TMobile site has the correct information for the ones made specifically for TMobile.
