Help massive battery drain or am i missing something?

New to the forum here! *hi!*

For a while after i downloaded gsam i was only using 5.5% an hour. Then i downloaded nova launcher and at 7.7% i was happy with the drain and the launcher. Went to work one day and noticed a massive drain. Cant figure out why android system is using so much google play is also a culprit.

Downloaded battery doctor....it disabled some stuff in the background. It shot downto 8.8 for a 10 mins then shot back up

It was google hangouts demolishing my battery.

Okay, downloaded the app. Not only did i massivly mess up my username i accidently posted without finishing.

Seems that google hangout was killing my battery big time for whatever reason.

Also disable all bloatware. I recommend an app called EZ Disabler

This is the first time iv seen ez disabler. Also im aware of pokemon go. However in this case it seems hangouts taking up an unessecary amount to battery.

Thank you for this app. Maybe i can use it. To compisate for hangouts drain.

Pokemon Go is your huge battery drain. It calls on Android System for location, and Google Services for the updating of your profile minute by minute (distance walked, etc), hence the huge battery drain for both items.

In this instance pokemon go was off. I need to update the post but iv confirmed the issue to be google hangouts. After disableing it no longer goes up to 20% an hr. Its now 3.5 to 5.5.
