So how exactly are we to get the credit?

A) Rely on our carrier's sense of goodwill and fairplay.

OR

B) Sit on hold for an hour with them demanding the credit until we're transferred to a retention specialist who will eventually give in and apply the credit?

I'm guessing B but hoping for A.

I use tmobile. Tmobile said it is an automatic credit that applies in 1 to 2 billing cycles to my account

The article I read said the refund goes live today at 3 PM Eastern, but I swapped mine on Tuesday. I hope they're planning to do it retroactively.

What if I already exchanged my Galaxy Note7 for another Samsung smartphone?

If you already exchanged your Galaxy Note7 device for another Samsung smartphone, you will receive up to a $75 bill credit from select carrier or retail outlets in addition to the $25 you previously received.

AT&T and T-Mobile are participating in the additional $75 per their website. I didn't look up the other carriers but would think they would as well.

Vodafone Australia is offering $250 credit which at least covers the price I paid to exit my last contact early and buy the Note 7. That's only if you swap to another Samsung phone so I'm now getting the S7 Edge... Couldn't wait till next year as I don't have another phone!

It's going to be a hassle trying to get this dang credit. I call att to see if I was getting a credit. She tells me that I should have gotten the credit when I returned the phone. I asked her how because I returned the phone the day before Samsung announced the credit. She then tells me that she has no proof that I even returned the phone the two times I turned it in. Needless to say I got off the phone frustrated with no clarification that I'll get a credit because according to their system I never returned my phone. *rolls eyes*

If I returned my Note 7 at the Sprint store and got my S7 Edge from Best Buy would I still get the credit?

I was told by Verizon I wouldn't get the credit until I return the Note 7's I have. I'm still waiting for this fire proof box I'm supposed to get to return them.

I called them today, and they are doing this. I just hope Samsung keeps it up indefinitely. I don't want to burn it on a carrier phone unless it's the Blue Coral S7 model.

Nice I better give them a call then cause I traded in my note a few days ago for the s7e but didn't get this credit
