Has anyone tested it to see if fonts outside the Samsung store work on this version? Wouldn't be surprised if Samsung are holding back the release just so they can restrict it again....

I consider myself a heavy user, this is what usage I get in my heaviest use (with some optimization)

Screen on 40% unless watching Netflix which will be around 80%. I used to have to force LTE only to get a decent signal but my phone seems to connect to LTE here without needing to force it. I'd say about half of this usage was with it on forced LTE. Using a Bluetooth headset that supports LE, so not too bad there. So far it's only slightly better when it comes to SOT, though I understand I'm in an awful signal area so that'll drain it more. Standby time is way better though as I noticed before I started this test out.
