Question about notifications

So when i receive multiple messages from the same contact, the popup window or the tab from the notification window up top will only say 2 new messages etc. Is there a way to have each message display one after the other? Basically im trying to see if this is possible because my fitbit charge hr 2 is only displaying a new message icon vs showing them all when they come in like my old htc one m7 used to. Yes not a fitbit forum, but im assuming if i can enable aome kinda setting like this on my edge it will probably get the desired effect on my fitbit. Anywaya, thanks for any help.
