Hopefully not a repost

"Testing by GSMArena reveals a dramatic loss of battery life on the Samsung S7 Edge (Exynos 8890 version) using the platform update. Battery life fell by three hours on its Wi-Fi browsing test, and five hours on the video test. HTC and Sony only began to roll out Nougat last month and both were also hit by technical issues."

I can assure you that's not a norm. I've had the best battery life ever since I've updated to nougat. Not much else I can say. It's always been like this with Samsung. Some people get poor battery life some get amazing battery life.

Using the Exynos version.

I've been pretty happy with Nougat on my S7 Edge. Up to the point that I took this screenshot, I had five lines open on T-Mobile so I had five phones working with active sim cards including my Nougat S7 Edge. I got two hrs screen time during this week. This phones glass is broken on the bottom so as of today, I am putting the phone away in a drawer just to keep as a backup and I no longer have five lines on T-Mobile anyways as I'm now prepaid.

I plugged in the phone to charge just before I took this screenshot.

I'm getting +6hours SOT with +16h Off Charge consistently with my S7 Edge Exynos on Nougat. Screen resolution set to WQHD, no Power Saving.

Using the exynos processor and I've noticed a drop in SOT by up to an hour

This is what I got from my typical usage. Cell reception is poor so that doesn't help and I'm forcing it to use the 4G chip so I can maintain a fast connection, though I did this with MM and managed to get 3.5hrs by 50%
