Browser Secret Mode/Google Search History

Searches I make in the stock browser when in secret mode show up in the history when you go into the Google app to do a search from there. Is that supposed to happen? I never remember it happening before.

Do you want any of your previous searches to show up in the Google search bar? If not, then open the Google app, tap Menu>Settings>In Apps, and uncheck the Samsung browser.

I want them all to show except the ones in secret mode. Surely they shouldn't?

It would make sense for them not to. Does the same thing happen with Chrome, or does it only happen with the stock browser?
