Why won't my s7 edge fully play my mp3s stored on both my phone and SD card storage?

After importing music to my phone storage & SD card, when connected to my pc, my songs will play and suddenly stop with a pop-up saying "playback error...couldn't play the track requested". When I do the same with my Note 3, I have zero issues; it's a quick process and the same mp3s play with ease. Help!
