Does LCD need replacement if touchscreen and glass are only defective for Samsung S7 Edge?

Hi, so my question is "Does LCD need replacement if touchscreen and glass are only defective for Samsung S7 Edge?" I have a phone that has the glass broken and the touchscreen works everywhere except a line in the middle. Does the entire module, ie glass, digitizer and lcd need to be replaced or can I just replace the digitizer and glass?

While i have not taken apart a s7 edge almost all phones made with in the last few years have had the Glass and LCD or AMOLED glued together.
So im pretty sure if you have a touch screen issue and/or broken glass the AMOLED screen will need to be replaced.
Im sure you know this but the samsung galaxy s7 s7 edge use AMOLED displays, not LCD.
