Can the S7 install apps to SD card by default?

currently own a galaxy S5, and my biggest pet peeve is that every time i install or update an app, it moves it to device storage, where i only have ~300 MB free at any time. I therefore have to go into settings and move the app to the SD card each time i update it. It's a huge pain, and i was wondering if anyone knew whether they fixed this in the S7?

I realize the S7 is not out yet, but what about on the S6 - was this problem also present?

It doesn't support adoptable storage.

I would suspect that you would have to do the same here.

That is not true. I have my s7 in hand with a 64gb SD card. Apps that aren't "System Apps" can be moved to the SD card, the same way they were in older versions of the phone.

Right... The op acknowledged that they can be moved after installation but he wanted to know if there is a way to install them by default to the sd card... Which there is no such option out of the box

You can add adoptable storage feature, but it requires a bit of work.
