Will the Galaxy S7 ever support Quick Charge 3.0?

Can anyone tell me if it's likely or even possible for Samsung to enable Quick Charge 3.0 for their Snapdragon 820 units through a software update?

Samsung would have to pay Qualcomm a nice fee to use 3.0 so I doubt it.

No as the Exynos ones can't use it and they would have to increase production costs with separate chargers etc. depending on the region. And it would mean Samsungs own chip powered devices could become less popular with other countries wanting the Snapdragon powered one.
