Screen Uniformity?

This is my first AMOLED device and I knew about the hue shift on off-axis viewing but one thing I didn't anticipate is screen uniformity specially with white/grey. I compared my s7 to my wifes' and noticed her color temp seems more neutral overall and slightly more even. Both seem to have a brighter area top left but mine is more noticeable.

Coming from an M8 LCD with near perfect color/uniformity it's a bit disappointing.

Question then, is this normal? Do I even bother to do an exchange with Best Buy to try and get a more uniform screen or am I playing a losing lottery as far as chances of getting a better display?

It's a better display to most folks. I would just get it exchanged anyway. I love the samsung's displays. They are really awesome!

Well the actual clarity and punch to the color is great, just curious if it's a common issue with white and grey uniformity. There's no point in going through the hassle if 75% of all S7 have the same issue.

Make it so.

I have an s7 and an s7 edge side by side and the color between the screen is dramatic like, the edge needs to be put into Cinematic display to look the way the s7 does on adaptive.

It's odd for sure, but I guess some are warmer than others
