Should I stress test my S7 with a benchmark app?

Before my return period expires should I stress test the phone and make sure it doesn't overheat/shut down? I did this before with an LG G2 that only after a couple runs it was almost too hot to hold it and returned it. I don't want to "fry" my phone either. Just something safe that people have experience with and know what results to expect on the S7.

It isn't needed. The S7 will restart itself once the cpu Temps are too high.

I was under the impression that benchmark tests often push the boundaries further than any user could under normal usage. I'm not sure how useful this test is.
