custom ringtone for a specific contact

Can someone please tell me how to set a specific ringtone for a specific contact.

I'm coming from a blackberry z10 where this was super intuitive.

I'm so frustrated with android. I don't know if to go to the phone app, the contact app, or where. The settings for android are all over the place.

Go to your contacts and click on the contact you want to set the ringtone for. Tap edit in the upper right, and scroll down to where is says more, then click on that. Scroll all the way to the bottom and there should be a section where you can change their ringtone.
