I have the t-mobile s7 and tried to install Snapdragon Battery Guru but can't because, apparently the app is not compatible with my device. Is it possible I have a exynos chip? Can I find out if I do?

No U.S. carrier models have the Exynos 8890 chipset. Only the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. Install Phone INFO ★Samsung★, free from the Play Store and check under, "HARDWARE".

Snapdragon Battery Guru has not been updated for about a year and is possibly not compatible with Android 6.0.1. There are a large number of apps in the Play Store that have still not been updated by their developers for Marshmallow, yet.
