6.0.1 update broke MTP? Now can't access phone files from PC

Before update (this morning), when I connected my Galaxy S7 to Windows 10 PC with cable, I could tap "Connected to USB for charging" notification, and I was granted the option to change to "File Transfer". I could then use Windows Explorer to access file system on phone.

After update, File Transfer option is no longer available.

Attempted work around: I enabled Developer Mode, also USB Debugging, turned on MTP, still no access.​

Yes, I am having this exact problem. Does anyone have a work around for a patch for this yet?

I have marshmallow 6.0.1 on Verizon and don't have this problem.
