4g and WIFI icon at same time

The last 2 days my 4g icon will light up while on wifi. I received a call and then was prompted for a free trial of premium visual voicemail. I then unsubscribed to just basic visual voicemail. I have also disabled caller name id and other verizon bloat accept for My Verizon. A reboot fixes for most of the day, but the 4g icon will come back on in the morning after I don't use the phone for the night and also during the evening periodically.

Any ideas what is making the 4g icon come on?

It wasn't doing this until the visual voicemail stuff.

Wifi, More, Smart Network Switch. If that's on, then your phone switches from poor wifi to cellular to maintain connection. Maybe that's what happens ...

That's off as well. It weird that it's just started over the last few days. Guess I'll just live with it
