Two months ago I switched from iPhone to Galaxy S7. I read a lot and tried many things but today I chattet with Samsung about my following Problem: I find the battery not really lasts long. Examples: 07:30am 100% - 12:24pm 65% - Display Time 1h10min. Today: 08:00am 100% - 11:30am 71% - Display Time 47min.
Gsam Battery Monitor Shows me, that System com.samsung.cmh:CMH is about 33%. Next is Android-System with 8,4%.
Sadly Samsung is not willing to help. "If it last not under 8 hours, it´s ok". They don´t even tell me, for what the com.samsung.cmh Process is responsible to easier find the failure.
But may there really is no failure? I am not into getting the last drop of my battery. I know, letting Bluetooth, wlan etc. always on is draining battery. Thats ok for my comfort. But is the above battery usage really normal?

"If it last not under 8 hours, it´s ok" is poor grammar, but correct - there's nothing saying that the battery has to last 8 hours. (Mine does, but the screen on time [the display time] is minimal - less than half an hour, usually.)

BTW, "getting the last drop" of the battery is bad - if you can't charge it when it drops to 50%, charge it before it drops below 40% - or you'll be replacing the battery. Lithium batteries are not deep-discharge technology, and they fail faster if you discharge them deeper. (So why do we use them? Lithium is the lightest metal. Lead-acid batteries are much better, but lead is VERY heavy by comparison, so you'd be lugging a 5 pound battery around.)

I know, that there is nothing saying, that the battery has to last more than 8 hours. That´s why I asked here, if others have similar battery life.

For the the "last drop" thing: What I meant is, that I am ok with a small more battery drain for Things letting stay on like Bluetooth, wlan etc.

But as I read, your S7 does not last much more than 8 hours with less than 30min Sreen On time.

Well, that´s not what I expected. But ok, then the S7 and maybe the Android-World is not the right thing for me. Good to know to have a choice knowing, what to expect when switching back.

Freeze the Samsung apps that you don't use and slowly unfreeze them. This will let you know exactly what Samsung app is causing the problem. I will say this that my GS7 lasts all day with medium usage. I'm usually streaming music all day too.

Go to developer options then running services. Screen shot that and show us.
Unless you are running high battery apps like games you should be getting way better battery. I get about 14 hours of medium usage.
Are you running battery saver apps? Sometimes freemium apps run GPS or background data.
