Verizon S7 on ATT ??? Work ?

Hey Guys, I am on ATT now, and a friend is selling me a brand new S7 .. I believe its a branded Verizon .. Will the LTE work in all areas? Some forums say it will be limited to a couple of LTE channels and some say its totally unlocked and all LET will work fine.. Any HELP before I pick it up would be helpful! Thanks in advance!

Looking things up.... the Verizon S7 will have partial support for AT&Ts LTE bands. It has bands 2 and 4 but not 12 and 17...

I guess they moved from 17 to 12 to allow better roaming compatibility with T-Mobile, so not sure how much that is used in general op.. I am guessing band 4 is their workhorse.

So it's mostly compatible., but not 100%.

This is what found out as well.... I guess the real question here, will I see a drop in LTE service in some areas? I live on Long Island NY Metro area..
