S7E registration problem

Bought my s7e from Amazon.ca. Tried to reg my phone at Samsung.ca. They can't reg phones bought at Amazon.ca. Tried to reg it at Samsung USA. My s/n # not found. What to do? Will my unreg'd phone be unable to have auto updates, etc?

Welcome to Android Central! Moved to the S7 edge forum. What do you mean by registering the phone? Do you mean warranty registration? That's never really needed -- it's just a way for companies to get your contact information so they can more easily inform you of issues with a device (and probably also to spam you with sales information).
