Removing News Republic advertisements that are not installed on my Samsung Galaxy S7.

I am hoping to get help getting rid of the News Republic advertisement pop-ups on my Samsung Galaxy S7. When I open an app, i.e. contacts, email, photos, etc., this annoying News Republic pops-up and just doesn't let me do anything unless I click out of the News Republic advertisement. Any suggestions, please, please?

No, the advertisement page just opens hop on my screen. I have to x out of it in order to continue what I am doing on my home screen or whatever app I am working on at the moment. I hope that makes sense.

Did these start after installing a recent app? It's probably adware associated with one of those apps -- try uninstalling your most recent apps one by one until the problem goes away.
